About The Opportunity

n

Genus are seeking an experienced Transmission Construction Manager - Overhead Lines to join our team and support the delivery of a major transmission infrastructure project.

n

Genus has been engaged to deliver the construction of critical high-voltage overhead transmission line infrastructure, supporting Australia's growing energy network and renewable energy transition.

n

This greenfield transmission project requires exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, construction planning, and technical expertise, along with a commitment to safety, quality, environmental compliance, and operational excellence in a remote, large-scale construction environment.

Your Day-to-day Activities Will Include

n

n
- Leading the safe and efficient delivery of overhead transmission line construction activities across multiple work fronts.
n
- Managing supervisors, subcontractors, engineers, and field personnel to ensure project milestones, budgets, and schedules are achieved.
n
- Monitoring project performance, quality outcomes, productivity, risk, and compliance with client, regulatory, and company requirements.
n
- Driving a high-performance safety culture through leadership, mentoring, stakeholder engagement, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
n

About You

You're a proactive, safety-focused, results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performing construction environment.

You Will Bring

n

n
- Trade qualification in Electrical, Powerline, Utilities, Construction or a related discipline, together with supervisory or frontline leadership qualifications.
n
- Demonstrated experience delivering high-voltage transmission line construction projects within the utilities, energy, infrastructure, or resources sectors.
n
- Strong leadership, contractor management, stakeholder engagement, project planning, budgeting, risk management, and communication skills.
