We're partnering with a leading national retailer to recruit a People Advisor to join their Shared Services team on a 6-month fixed-term contract during a busy peak period.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to break into HR and gain valuable experience within a large, high-volume People & Culture environment. You don't need previous HR experience for this role — we're particularly interested in candidates from customer service, call centre, administration or contact centre backgrounds who are confident communicating with people, solving problems and are keen to build a career in HR.

About the Role
n
You'll join a specialist Shared Services team, providing support to team members across a range of HR-related enquiries. You'll be the first point of contact for employees, helping resolve queries relating to pay, systems, benefits, recruitment and general employee administration.
n
This is a highly customer-focused role where your ability to listen, communicate clearly, problem-solve and provide a positive employee experience will be key.

Key Responsibilities
n

- Respond to team member enquiries via web-based channels
n
- Assist with pay-impacting issues and employee administration queries
n
- Support team members with system navigation and troubleshooting
n
- Provide information relating to employee benefits and recruitment processes
n
- Make outbound calls when required to investigate or resolve enquiries
n
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
n
- Provide a professional and positive experience to every team member
n
- Work collaboratively within a high-volume shared services environment
n
n
About You
n
We're open to candidates from a range of backgrounds. Previous HR experience is not essential.
n

Role Details

- 6-month fixed-term contract
n
- Location: Eight Mile Plains
n
- Training: 4-week full-time onboarding, in office
n
- Hybrid working: Minimum 2 days per week in office once training is completed
n
- Roster: Monday-Friday, between 6:30am-5:30pm
n
- Immediate start
