Job Description

This is a leadership position based in Broken Hill that focuses on ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care through advanced clinical practice, staff supervision, and compliance with aged care standards.

- Assist the Residential Manager in overseeing daily operations of the care home.
n
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing and care staff.
n
- Ensure care is delivered in line with residents' goals, preferences and assessed needs.
n
- Oversee care planning, assessments, case conferences, and AN-ACC documentation.
n
- Ensure compliance with relevant aged care legislation, regulations, and best practices.
n
- Liaise with GPs and allied health professionals to ensure holistic care delivery.
n
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management of staff.
n
- Drive continuous improvement and evidence-based practice in the clinical setting.
n

What You'll Bring Essential:

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
- Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience in aged care.
n




- Solid understanding of clinical governance and aged care standards.
n
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and support a multi-disciplinary team.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Well-developed skills in time management, prioritisation, and decision‐making.
n
- Computer literacy and proficiency in clinical documentation systems
n
- Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, an NDIS Worker Screening Check (or a current AFP check with an active NDIS application).
n
- Full working rights in Australia.
n
- Up-to-date influenza vaccination and willingness to comply with applicable health directives.
