Key responsibilities

- General mechanical repairs and maintenance
n
- Logbook and scheduled servicing
n
- Brake, suspension and steering repairs
n
- Engine and general mechanical repairs
n
- Basic diagnostics and fault finding
n
- Vehicle inspections
n
- Identifying additional repairs or maintenance required
n
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship
n
- Keeping your work area clean and organised
n
n
About you
n
n
- Be a qualified Motor Mechanic or currently studying towards an automotive mechanical qualification
n
- If currently studying, have positive practical mechanical knowledge and previous hands‐on workshop experience
n
- Have previous experience working in a mechanical workshop
n
- Be confident carrying out servicing, maintenance and general mechanical repairs
n
- Have good mechanical fault‐finding skills
n
- Experience working with European vehicles is highly regarded, but not essential
n
- Be able to work independently where appropriate and also work well as part of a team
n
- Have strong attention to detail and take pride in their workmanship
n
- Be reliable, punctual and organised
n
- Hold a valid Australian Driver Licence
n
