UON is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Supervisor to join our site team in the Pilbara.
n
Key duties of this role include:
n
n
- Accept statutory appointment as an Electrical Supervisor on a2:1 rosterand ensure compliance with associated statutory responsibilities.
n
- Supervise and coordinate the electrical activities ensuring productive and quality work outputs.
n
- Supervise and coordinate regular inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
n
- Supervise critical HV and LV electrical maintenance tasks ensuring the work is completed safely and on time.
n
- Assist, guide and mentor the team as required and provide hands on assistance as required.
n
- Liaise closely with the superintendent and process team to prioritise electrical services.
n
- Assist in work planning, scheduling and resource allocation with a focus on the weekly electrical maintenance plan.
n
- Understand the monthly process forecast and communicate plant targets with the maintenance team.
n
- Ensure employees receive adequate training and instruction to perform their work.
n
- Discharge of obligations under Section 44 of the WA Mines Safety & Inspections Act.
n
- Compliance with WA Mines Safety and Inspections Act and Regulations and Duty of Care.
n
n
To be successful in this role you must have:
n
n
- Preferably a minimum 5 years' Supervisory experience.
n
- WA 'A' Class Electrical License.
n
- High Voltage Operators Accreditation.
n
- Cert IV in Instrumentation Preferred.
n
- Scheduled 26 certification.
n
- Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or equivalent preferred.
n
- Construction induction white card.
n
- Current Australian 'C' class manual Driver's License.
n
- Proven financial, risk, commercial, contractual and human resource management skills.
n
- Strong proven qualities of leadership, integrity, loyalty and performance management.
n
- Proven performance on successful projects with an exemplary safety track record.
n
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawing and fault-finding control circuits.
n
- Ability to mentor and lead a team of electricians.
n
