Are you a strong sales leader who loves winning business, building relationships and leading from the front?

Our client is an established Commercial Joinery Company on the Sunshine Coast looking for an experienced Sales Team Leader to lead a team of four Sales Representatives while remaining hands‐on with business development.

n

This isn't a desk-based Sales Manager role. You'll be out on the road, meeting clients, opening doors and driving new business, while coaching your team to achieve strong results.

The Role

n

You will be responsible for:

n

n
- Leading, coaching and engaging a team of four Sales Representatives
n
- Driving sales activity, targets, pipeline and team performance
n
- Getting out on the road to develop new business and key accounts
n
- Building relationships with builders, developers, architects, designers, shopfitters and project managers
n
- Identifying upcoming commercial projects and new market opportunities
n
- Supporting the team with prospecting, client meetings and closing opportunities
n
- Managing key client relationships and driving repeat business
n
- Working closely with estimating,



production and project teams
n
- Developing sales strategies to support the continued growth of the business
n

About You

n

We're looking for a proven salesperson and natural leader who knows how to build business and get the best out of a team.

n

Ideally, you will bring:

n

n
- Strong B2B sales and business development experience
n
- Experience leading or mentoring a sales team
n
- A proven ability to generate new business and build a healthy pipeline
n
- Strong relationship‐building, negotiation and communication skills
n
- A proactive, energetic approach — you enjoy being out in the market, not sitting behind a desk
n
- Experience within construction, commercial fit‐outs, joinery, building products, manufacturing, trade sales or another project‐based industry
n

Commercial joinery experience would be fantastic, but it's not essential. We're equally interested in strong sales leaders with transferable industry experience.
