We're currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team in a permanent FIFO role, supporting the reliability and performance of a large-scale mining fleet.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the Planning & Reliability Superintendent, you'll play a key role in ensuring maintenance activities are planned efficiently to maximise fleet availability, reliability and operational performance.
n
Working closely with maintenance and operations teams, you'll coordinate planned maintenance, manage work priorities and support continuous improvement across the maintenance function.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Develop and maintain weekly, short and long-term maintenance plans
n
- Plan scheduled servicing, component replacements and shutdown activities
n
- Coordinate labour, parts, tooling and resources to support planned work
n
- Manage maintenance backlogs and prioritise work to minimise equipment downtime
n
- Monitor equipment defects and ensure corrective maintenance is scheduled appropriately
n
- Work closely with Supervisors, Reliability personnel and Operations to optimise maintenance outcomes
n
- Maintain accurate maintenance plans and system data within JDE
n
- Analyse maintenance trends and identify opportunities to improve fleet reliability and efficiency
n
- Escalate critical maintenance issues that may impact production
n
n
About You
n
To be successful, you'll have:
n
n
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Planner within an open cut mining workplace
n
- Solid knowledge of heavy mobile mining equipment, including ultra-class fleets
n
- Relevant mechanical trade qualification
n
- Experience using maintenance management systems, preferably JDE
n
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
n
- Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills
n
- Current Queensland Driver Licence
n
- Current Standard 11, or the ability to obtain one
n
