An opportunity has presented itself for a Qualified Locomotive Driver to join the team at our intermodal terminal in Junee NSW.
n
What You'll Do
n
n
- Safely prepare and operate locomotives and trains in compliance with operational procedures.
n
- Perform and coordinate shunting movements independently and with Shift Supervisors.
n
- Prepare locomotives for train operations, including system checks and compliance documentation.
n
- Monitor train performance and work towards Delivered In-Full, On-Time (DIFOT) targets.
n
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet customer and operational requirements.
n
- Support and promote Pacific National's safety culture and values.
n

What You'll Bring
n
n
- Accredited and fully qualified Locomotive Driver (please attach your Certificate IV in Train Driving during the application process).
n
- Proven locomotive driving experience.
n
- Customer-focused approach and commitment to ongoing development.
n
- High regard for safety and compliance.
n
- Positive, team-focused attitude with ability to work autonomously.
n
- Basic computer literacy.
n
- Current motor vehicle licence (essential).
n
- Flexibility to work a 24/7 roster, including local and barracks work.
n
