This integral role provides a high level of service to guests experience and presents an amazing opportunity to play a key role in the world's largest W Hotel, with 588 rooms, suites and studios. the Welcome Supervisor should be able to balance the needs of their team, their guests, and the business itself, while maintaining a focus on excellence and continuous improvement. This requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as well as a deep local understanding of the guest journey. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

- Process all guest check-ins, verifying guest identity, form of payment, assigning room, and activating/issuing room key.
n
- Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks.
n
- Assist staff with expediting problem payments (e.g., problems processing credit card).
n
- Anticipate sold-out situations and obtain satisfactory alternative accommodations when the property cannot accommodate guests with reservations.
n
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in. Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy.
n
- Ensure rates match market codes, document exceptions. Secure payment prior to issuing room key, verify/adjust billing.
n
- Compile and review daily reports/logs/contingency lists.
n
- Complete cashier and closing reports.
n
- Provide guests with directions and property information.
n
- Accommodate guest requests, contacting appropriate staff if necessary. Follow up to ensure requests have been met.
n
- Process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges. Balance and drop receipts. Count and secure bank at beginning and end of shift.
n
- Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft.
n
- Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model.
n
