Job Description

Fat Zebra is growing its team and we are looking for a few additional Rails developers to join the company as we continue to build out recent technologies and solutions in the Payments space.

Based in Surry Hills we are a small but growing company (currently 8 people) and we build a payments platform that serves a large share of payment gateways in Australia, in addition to a number of large ecommerce websites.

Our Technologies:

- Ruby, Ruby on rails
n
- DevOps Practices
n
- TDD
n
- experience with Go is an advantage
n
- experience with other languages (.NET, Java, Python, PHP etc) is a plus, but not necessary
n

This role is suited to people who are happy to self-manage, work independently but also collaborate with other team members where required.



We are primarily looking for developers of intermediate to advanced skill levels, but happy to consider all applicants.

n

Ideally you would have:

n

n
- experience with RoR, Databases and web applications in general
n
- the ability to work independently, but seek assistance where required
n
- work well without direct supervision – at times your direct manager or team lead may be working remotely or away on travel
n
- be able to work with non-technical staff to discuss ideas and work on new solutions
n
