Dussen specialises in the repairs of Meat Processing Equipment. We are looking for a Service Technician to install, repair and maintain all aspects of customer equipment, both mechanical and electrical. These duties may be performed in the workshop and/or in office.

Key responsibilities

- Install, repair and maintain all aspects of customer equipment (mechanical and electrical)
n
- Perform fault finding and breakdown repairs
n
- Carry out preventative maintenance
n
- Work autonomously and as part of a team
n
- Follow WHS protocols and maintain safety consciousness
n
- Work Monday to Friday with occasional overtime
n
n
About you
n
n
- Electrical Fitter with good mechanical knowledge, or Mechanical Fitter with a restricted Electrical License
n
- Must have an Electrical License or a Full Restricted Electrical License
n
- 3rd/4th year Apprentices considered
n
- Experience in fault finding, breakdowns and preventative maintenance (essential)
n
- Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills (essential)
n
- Current Manual Driver's License
n
- Good work ethic
n
- Written and oral communication skills
n
- Ability to work overtime occasionally
n
- Ability to gain or have a police check
n
- Previous experience in a Service Technician role (advantageous)
