What you bring

n

You bring strong experience in building modern data platforms in a collaborative environment with solid commercial experience in data engineering and strong expertise in:

n

- Cloud-based data architectures and scalable data platform design
n
- SQL (MySQL Aurora / TiDB) performance and optimisation
n
- Cloud data warehouse/data lake products
n
- Designing and building high-throughput ELT/ETL pipelines
n
- Working with NoSQL technologies and distributed data systems
n
- Monitoring and operating data processing pipelines at scale
n
- Exposure to AI/ML and data analytics tools
n
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance
n
- Strong collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical people
n

You take ownership beyond implementation-working closely with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to design and deliver reliable data platforms and data solutions into production.

You balance performance, scalability, security,



and maintainability in designing clean and efficient data systems. You communicate clearly, and continuously improve workflows and data practices.

- Experience working with large-scale or multi-petabyte data environments

- Experience supporting AI/ML initiatives with data pipelines and architecture

- Experience improving database performance and scalability in production

Responsibilities

n

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architecture and infrastructure
n
- Build and optimise high-throughput ELT/ETL pipelines across multiple data sources
n
- Work closely with engineering and business teams to deliver data solutions
n
- Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and privacy across systems
n
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
n
- Create and maintain explicit documentation of data systems and processes
n
- Support AI initiatives through robust and scalable data solutions
n
- Improve database performance, scalability, and overall platform efficiency
n
