Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a leading and well-established real estate and funds management business based in Sydney CBD.

This is an initial 3-6 month contract with a genuine pathway to permanent, providing an chance to join a high-performing finance team during a key reporting period.

The Role

n

n
- Preparing statutory financial statements, including notes and disclosures
n
- Supporting half-year and year-end financial reporting and close processes
n
- Managing relationships and queries with external auditors
n
- Preparing and reviewing supporting workpapers and reconciliations
n
- Supporting tax calculations and trust-related reporting
n
- Identifying and addressing technical accounting matters
n
- Working closely with the Financial Controller, CFO and wider finance team
n
- Ensuring reporting deadlines and requirements are met
n

About You

n

n
- 5+ years relevant accounting and financial reporting experience
n




- Strong technical accounting knowledge across AASB/IFRS
n
- CA/CPA qualification or working towards
n
- Previous experience within real estate, property, funds management is highly desirable
n
- Big 4 audit or advisory experience is desirable
n
- Experience working with external auditors and managing audit processes
n
- Strong statutory reporting and financial statement preparation experience
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Immediate availability or 1 weeks' notice
n
