Job Description

n

SMS Personnel is seeking an experienced Export Sales Manager for a temporary assignment with a major Australian product and manufacturing organisation based in Kilsyth. This is a senior international commercial leadership role with responsibility for export sales performance across Africa, Asia and the Pacific Islands, including P&L;, market growth, distributor development and team leadership.

Responsibilities

n

- Lead the overall commercial performance and profitability of the export sales function and associated international sales/marketing operations.
n
- Manage budgets, forecasts, inventory planning and strategic execution across a diverse international market portfolio.
n
- Develop and execute regional growth strategies to expand market presence and increase revenue.
n
- Build and manage strategic relationships with distributors, dealers, OEMs, fleet customers and key accounts.
n
- Lead, develop and empower high-performing sales teams and reinforce accountability and continuous improvement.
n
- Partner with product, marketing and other cross-functional teams to support launches, brand growth and market priorities.
n




- Identify new market opportunities and lead regional expansion and strategic commercial projects.
n
- Use CRM systems to manage relationships, sales pipelines and performance reporting.
n

Requirements

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Management or a related field.
n
- 8+ years' experience in sales, business development or commercial leadership within automotive, aftermarket, industrial or a related sector.
n
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing sales teams with responsibility for business performance.
n
- Strong P&L;, budgeting, forecasting and profitability capability.
n
- Proven experience working with international distributors, dealers and strategic key accounts.
n
- Strong commercial acumen and a record of identifying and converting growth opportunities.
n
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills.
n
- Solid English communication skills; additional languages are advantageous.
n
- Practical CRM experience across customer relationships, pipelines and performance reporting.
n
- Kilsyth-based temporary assignment in a senior international commercial leadership role.
n
