- Work Type: Full time (Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours/week)

We are currently partnering with a leading independent school to recruit an experienced, highly capable Executive Assistant. Supporting the Principal, Deputy Principal, and Business Manager, you will play a critical operational role as a key point of contact for staff, parents, board members, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Executive Administration & Calendar Management: Provide proactive, high-level administrative support to the Principal, Deputy Principal, and Business Manager, managing complex diaries, inbox triaging, travel arrangements, and expense reconciliations.
- Board & Governance Support: Prepare agendas, collate and distribute board packs, attend board and committee meetings, take accurate minutes, and track action items to ensure compliance deadlines are met.
- School Enquiries & Issue Resolution: Professionally manage, triage, and resolve high-level parent and community complaints, escalating sensitive matters appropriately while maintaining confidentiality and school values.
- HR & Financial Operational Support: Assist the Business Manager and executive team with confidential HR administration, staff records, and finance-related administrative tasks.
- Stakeholder Engagement:



Act as a warm, professional first point of contact for senior leadership, handling all interactions with high discretion and professional standards.

Key Requirements

- Experience: Proven track record in an Executive Assistant or Executive Support role supporting senior leaders.
- Governance & Minute Taking: Strong background drafting agendas, attending formal board/committee meetings, and delivering concise, accurate minutes.
- Discretion & Confidentiality: High level of professional maturity, maintaining absolute discretion when managing confidential HR matters, financial documentation, student issues, and executive communications.
- Conflict & Complaint Resolution: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to handle complex parent enquiries and high-level complaints calmly and diplomatically.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency across Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Clearances: Must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Working with Children Check (WWCC), RRHAN-EC certification, and First Aid qualifications.
