Job Description

About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our high performing Arndell Park Service Centre team. Your duties will include:
n
Maintenance & repair work on a broad range of fixed and mobile waste industry equipment.
n
Responding to break downs as required and where possible return the equipment or vehicle to working order.
n
Identifying and resolving issues related to the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic aspects of the equipment.
n
Employing technical diagrams and instruction manuals to facilitate the correct assembly and troubleshooting of equipment.
n
Building and repairing components.
n
Performing checks to guarantee that the assembled equipment meets or exceeds quality benchmarks.
n
Accurately record all actions taken to ensure traceability and compliance with industry standards.
n

About You
n
The successful candidate will have:
n
n
- Trade qualification plus three years' experience (preferred).
n
- Waste industry experience (desirable).
n
- Fault finding experience with hydraulic and electrical equipment.
n
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical failures and recommend solutions.
n
- HR license (desirable) or willing to complete.
n
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
n
- Ability to work autonomously and as part ofa team.
n
- Commitment to safety and following standard work procedures.
n
n

The preferred candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical which will include a drug and alcohol test.
