We are partnering with a leading investment manager responsible for billions in funds under management spanning infrastructure, debt investments, private equity and listed equities.

The Role

This is a growth-focused opportunity reporting directly to the General Counsel. You will work closely with a team of experienced funds and corporate M&A; lawyers.

Key responsibilities include:

- Deal Execution & Structuring: Advising on the establishment, structuring and ongoing management of investment funds across multiple asset classes.
- Documentation: Reviewing and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including limited partnership agreements (LPAs), unit trusts, constitutions, Information Memoranda (IMs), Product Disclosure Statements (PDSs), subscription agreements and shareholders’ agreements.
- Corporate M&A;: Supporting corporate M&A; transactions and investments.
- Product Development: Assisting with the structuring and delivery of investment products to global wholesale investors.
- Regulatory Compliance:



Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across different jurisdictions, with a particular focus on alternative investment funds.
- Governance: Providing guidance on governance frameworks and managing investor relations from a legal perspective.

The Ideal Candidate

- 3 + years’ PQE gained in a leading law firm or a sophisticated financial services/investment management setting.
- Strong experience advising on investment funds, managed funds or private equity transactions.Exposure to offshore fund regimes and cross-border fundraising activity will be highly regarded.
- Retail fund experience will place you at a distinct advantage.
- A commercially pragmatic mindset, with the ability to work closely with business teams in a fast-paced environment.
