Job Description
National Transport and 3PL company seeking an experienced and proactive IT Manager to oversee our day-to-day IT operations, vendor relationships, and systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, while also contributing to the long-term improvement and direction of our systems and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:
n
n
- Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day IT operations, working closely with the managed services providers
n
- Monitor and manage service delivery against SLAs, escalating and resolving issues where required
n
- Provide hands-on support across Microsoft systems, users, infrastructure, warehouse management and transport management software when needed
n
- Maintain relationships with key technology vendors and coordinate hardware and software procurement
n
- Assist in maintaining and executing the IT roadmap in line with business requirements
n
- Identify and implement practical improvements to systems, processes, and user experience
n
- Maintain cybersecurity controls including user access, backups, and endpoint protection
n
- Monitor system performance, risks, and vulnerabilities, and take proactive corrective action
n
- Deliver and support system upgrades, implementations, and small-to-large IT projects
n
n
Experience and qualifications:
n
n
- Hands-on experience supporting IT systems including Windows server, Windows desktops, Microsoft 365, Azure, infrastructure, and end users
n
- Proven experience in an IT Manager, IT Lead, or senior systems administration role
n
- Robust time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise across multiple tasks and stakeholders
n
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users
n
- High level of ownership, with a proactive approach and pride in delivering quality outcomes
n
