The Opportunity

Our client is looking for an APS6/EL1 Procurement Officer to join its Corporate Division on a 12-month non-ongoing basis.

You'll provide service and procurement guidance to line areas across the agency.

The Role
n
This role sits within the Corporate Division and is the first point of contact for procurement guidance across the agency.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Providing service and procurement guidance to line areas across the agency
n
- Acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on procurement approaches and processes
n
- Supporting the design and establishment of procurement systems and processes for a growing agency
n
- Contributing to broader corporate activities as the agency continues to scale up
n
n
The Ideal Person
n
You're likely to bring APS6 or EL1 level experience in procurement.
n
You're comfortable acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and happy to pitch in wherever the agency needs it.
n
You will bring:
n
n
- Experience providing procurement guidance or advice within a corporate function
n
- A customer-focused approach and confidence acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders
n
- The ability to work autonomously while helping establish new systems and processes
n
n
Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have:
n
n
- Experience in a central or corporate function in a Commonwealth Government environment
n
- A strong understanding of procurement guidelines and frameworks
n
n
To be eligible for the role, you must be an Australian citizen, be willing to undergo a policy check and have an active Baseline security clearance.

Salary / Rate
n
n
- $129k – $139k + 15.4% Super
n
- 12-month non-ongoing contract or section 26 transfer available
n
