About the Role

n

As a Leading Hand Diesel Fitter, you'll provide day-to-day leadership to the maintenance team while remaining hands-on with servicing, diagnostics and repairs.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Leading, mentoring and supporting Diesel Fitters and service personnel
n
- Coordinating planned maintenance, breakdowns and component replacements
n
- Completing diagnostics, fault-finding and complex repairs
n




- Allocating work and supporting daily maintenance planning
n
- Ensuring maintenance is completed safely, efficiently and on schedule
n
- Promoting high standards of safety, housekeeping and quality workmanship
n
- Supporting continuous improvement and fleet reliability initiatives
n
- Working closely with Supervisors and Operations to achieve maintenance targets
n

About You

n

To be successful, you will have:

n

n
- Australian-recognised Diesel Fitter, Heavy Vehicle or equivalent trade qualification
n
- Previous Leading Hand or supervisory experience in mining or heavy earthmoving
n
- Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
n
- Proven experience maintaining heavy mobile mining equipment
n
- The ability to lead, coach and develop maintenance personnel
n
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
n
- Current Driver Licence
n
