Are you an experienced ICT Support professional looking for your next Federal Government opportunity?

n

We're seeking an experienced Service Desk Officer to join a Federal Government department and provide high-quality ICT support to users.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on ICT support, troubleshooting, customer service and ICT project delivery within a government environment.

n

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Provide frontline ICT support across hardware, software, network, account and device issues
n
- Triage, resolve and escape incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs
n
- Administer user accounts, devices, software and ICT asset records
n
- Support ICT projects, upgrades, testing, rollouts and implementation activities
n
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, vendors and service providers
n
- Provide hands-on support and maintenance of user and building ICT hardware
n
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to ICT service and process improvements
n

To be successful, you will have:

n

n
- Current Australian Government Baseline security clearance – essential
n
- Solid troubleshooting experience across Microsoft on-premises and cloud environments
n
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
n
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
n
- Experience supporting ICT projects and operational activities
n
- Understanding of ICT security, governance and compliance requirements
n
- Active Directory – on-premises and Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID
n
- Understanding of ITIL principles
n
