The Opportunity: Wyong Hospital is seeking experienced ED CMOs to join its Emergency Department team.
n
You will provide acute assessment, treatment, and coordination of patient care across a broad spectrum of presentations, working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
n
On‐call is not required for most shifts, with rostered blocks available to suit your schedule.

Clinical Environment:
n
n
- Deliver emergency care across a range of presentations, including trauma and high‐acuity cases
n
- Collaborate with ED specialists, registrars, nurses, and allied health professionals
n
- Gain experience in a busy coastal hospital with strong protocols and resources
n
- Work in a supportive environment that values clinical judgement, leadership, and patient safety
n
n
Eligibility Criteria:
n
n
- MBBS or equivalent with current (or eligible) AHPRA registration - minimum Level 2 supervision
n
- Aus/NZ/Competent Authority Pathway:
Minimum 4 postgraduate years, including 12 months in an Australian ED as Trainee/CMO/SRMO
n
- Standard Pathway: Minimum 6 postgraduate years, including 2 years in an Australian ED as Trainee/CMO/SRMO
n
- Ability to work independently within a supervised environment
n
- Solid clinical skills, communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities
n
- Australian working rights
n
