Glad Group Services is seeking a reliable and hands‐on Maintenance Technician to support the day‐to‐day operations of a busy shopping centre. This role is responsible for maintaining the facility to a high standard while ensuring a safe and well‐presented environment for tenants and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspections of the shopping centre including common areas, restrooms, parking areas and exterior grounds.
n
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and centre management.
n
- Diagnose faults and complete minor repairs in a timely and safe manner.
n
- Monitor and maintain fire safety systems, alarms and emergency lighting.
n
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs and servicing.
n
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
n
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records.
n




- Assist with centre event set‐ups and seasonal installations.
n
- Conduct daily checks of escalators, lifts and automatic doors (reporting issues where required).

Skills & Qualifications

n

n
- Experience in building maintenance or facilities management preferred.
n
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general repairs.
n
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
n
- Understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
n
- Robust communication skills and ability to work with tenants and contractors.
n
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
n
- Relevant trade qualification (desirable but not essential).
n

Working Conditions

- May require shift work, weekends or on‐call duties.
n
- Physical work including lifting, climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
n
- Exposure to both indoor and outdoor environments.
