Senior Electrical Engineer - Aviation

What you'll do

n

As a Senior Electrical Engineer - Aviation, you'll play a key role in delivering major airside infrastructure projects across civil and defence airports.

n

n
- Lead the design and delivery of airport electrical infrastructure projects
n
- Deliver Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) designs including runway, taxiway, approach lighting and apron floodlighting systems
n
- Develop feasibility studies, concept designs and detailed design documentation
n
- Provide technical leadership across complex airport projects
n
- Review engineering calculations, specifications and technical documentation
n
- Ensure designs comply with MOS Part 139, ICAO Annex 14 and relevant Australian Standards
n
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary airport planning and engineering teams
n
- Support and mentor developing engineers across the business
n
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to future project opportunities

What you'll bring

- Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering
n
- Demonstrated experience in Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) design
n
- Strong understanding of airport electrical infrastructure and airside systems
n




- Experience with high voltage, low voltage, CCR and control systems design
n
- Knowledge of MOS Part 139, ICAO standards and airport compliance requirements
n
- Experience delivering projects within a consulting, contractor, airport or aviation workplace
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- A passion for technical excellence and mentoring others
n
