Job Description

Concentis are partnering with a leading renewable energy owner and operator to source an experienced Lead Technician to support the ongoing operation and maintenance of a large-scale solar farm.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll provide technical leadership to site technicians while remaining hands-on in maintenance, fault finding and high-voltage operations. This is a senior site-based role responsible for driving safety, reliability and operational excellence across the site.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead, mentor and support a team of site technicians, fostering a strong safety-first culture
n
- Plan and coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance activities to maximise plant performance
n
- Perform and oversee high-voltage switching, fault finding and repairs across site assets
n
- Supervise contractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
n
- Manage maintenance work orders, reporting and asset information within the site's CMMS
n
- Monitor site tools, spare parts and operational documentation to support reliable maintenance
n
- Support compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements while working closely with engineering and operational support teams
n

About You

n

n
- Current Queensland A Grade Electrical Licence
n
- Proven leadership experience within industrial, utilities, power generation or renewable energy environments
n
- Strong experience with HV switching, electrical maintenance and fault finding
n
- Knowledge of CMMS platforms such as Maximo or similar maintenance systems
n
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to mentor and develop others
n
- Willingness to participate in an on-call roster
n
