Job Description
n
As our #AAA team continues to grow, we're looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to support participants across the Sutherland Shire region, covering Caringbah, Cronulla and lower St George depending on where you're based - work close to home! As an experienced clinician, you'll bring your expertise to a supportive and collaborative environment where you can make a meaningful impact in the lives of your participants, contribute to team development, and continue growing professionally.

- Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services
n
- Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
n
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
n
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
n
- Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
n
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes
n
- Caseload will be tailored to your experience, interests and professional goals
n
- Support the growth and development of graduates and early career clinicians.

Qualifications
n
To be successful in this role you will have:
n
n
- Current Occupational Therapy membership with AHPRA
n
- Experience as an Occupational Therapist or Senior Occupational Therapist beyond graduation
n
- Passionate about community‐based support for people with disability
n
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
n
- Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment
n
- Desire to mentor graduates and early career clinicians
n
n
