Salary: $73,000 to $76,000 plus superannuation

Hospitality National Pty Ltd is a leading recruitment company in the hospitality industry, currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef for our client in Runcorn, Queensland. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing high-quality dishes for our client's restaurant. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards and delivered in a timely manner. Your creativity, attention to detail, and passion for cooking will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu and customer preferences
n
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and high standards
n
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety procedures
n
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
n




- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
n
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
n
- Collaborate with the management team to develop current menu items and specials
n
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
n

Requirements:

n

- Proven experience as a Chef at 1 yearin a fast-paced restaurant environment
n
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation
n
- Strong leadership and communication skills
n
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
n
- Attention to detail and creativity in menu planning
n
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
n
- Relevant culinary qualifications and certifications (Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and above)
n
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
n
