About The Role And Where You Will Be Working Join the SNF Plus Pilot as a Level 3 Speech Pathologist for 8 hours per week and make a meaningful difference for vulnerable children and families across Greater Newcastle.
Based at Wallsend, you'll work alongside an enthusiastic multidisciplinary team including Child and Family Health Nurses, Social Workers and Allied Health Clinicians.
You'll bring your expertise to weekly case reviews, provide clinical consultation, and work directly with families through home visits and telehealth.
This is a great opportunity to use your specialist skills in a collaborative, family-centred and flexible service.
About You
We're looking for a passionate and skilled Speech Pathologist with expertise in early language, feeding, swallowing, breastfeeding and infant nutrition.
You'll be compassionate, collaborative and innovative, with the ability to identify concerns early, build strong relationships with families and deliver practical, family-centred support.
You'll be supported by an experienced Child and Family Health and Allied Health team, with orientation provided on commencement. Ongoing mandatory education requirements apply.
Requirements
Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
Eligibility to drive in NSW and willingness and ability to travel for work purposes
