The Role

n

- Provide Technical Leadership: Act as the go-to expert, offering strategic planning guidance and legislative advice to the broader engineering and development teams.
n
- Drive Project Success: Manage and prioritise competing demands across multiple high-profile projects, ensuring quality delivery every time.
n
- Engage Stakeholders: Build trust and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including local councils, private developers, and internal delivery teams.
n
- Support Team Growth: Step up as Second-in-Charge to mentor junior staff and help steer the planning division.

Your experience:

n

n
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Urban/Town Planning or a related field.
n
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of town planning experience within Australia (Consultancy or Local Government background highly regarded).
n
- NSW Expertise: A sharp, proven ability to interpret and apply NSW planning legislation.
n
- Tech-Savvy Skills: highly desirable experience using Nearmap.
n
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a natural eye for detail and quality.
