About the Opportunity

n

Our client is looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their growing Defence division, delivering electrical installation and fit out projects across Defence sites in NSW.

n

We are looking for someone with a strong electrical background who has progressed into Project Management and has experience delivering large-scale electrical projects.

n

Previous Defence, on base installation experience and an AGSVA Security Clearance are highly preferred.

n

The Role

n

You will manage multiple electrical projects from planning and estimation through to delivery, commissioning and handover.

n

Projects can be valued at $5M+, with responsibility for managing project budgets, subcontractors, electricians, procurement, scheduling and client relationships.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Manage electrical projects from start to completion
n
- Manage multiple projects and approximately $750K of project delivery per month
n
- Coordinate electricians, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
n
- Manage budgets, forecasts, variations and project costs
n
- Support estimating, quoting and project planning
n
- Manage project schedules and ensure delivery milestones are achieved
n




- Liaise with Defence, Commonwealth and other project stakeholders
n
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Electrical trade background and qualifications
n
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager
n
- Experience delivering electrical installation, construction or fit out projects
n
- Experience managing projects valued around $5M or above
n
- Strong understanding of estimating, budgets, variations and electrical project delivery
n
- Experience managing subcontractors and electrical site teams
n
- Australian Citizenship
n
- Ability to pass Defence and Police background screening
n
- AGSVA Security Clearance, ideally NV1, highly regarded
n
- Previous Defence project experience highly regarded
n
- Previous on base Defence electrical installation experience or site access clearance strongly preferred
n
