The Gascoyne Outreach Service (GOS), part of Geraldton Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (GRAMS), is seeking a compassionate and motivated Social Worker / Mental Health Professional to join our multidisciplinary team in Carnarvon.

About the Role
n
As a Social Worker / Mental Health Professional, you will:
n
n
- Provide mental health assessments, counselling, crisis intervention and case management.
n
- Work collaboratively with GPs, psychiatrists and other health professionals.
n
- Support clients through recovery planning, referrals and advocacy.
n
- Deliver mental health education and health promotion within the community.
n
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on culturally safe,
person-centred care.
n
n
About You
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or a related discipline.
n
- Current registration (where applicable).
n
- Experience working in community mental health.
n
- Excellent communication, assessment and case management skills.
n
- A genuine commitment to improving Aboriginal health outcomes.
n
- A current driver's licence, Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain) and National Police Clearance.
n
