An established Federal Government Department is seeking an experiencedICT Configuration Managerto lead and enhance its Configuration Management Database (CMDB) capability. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate and trusted configuration data that supports service management, cyber security, compliance and operational outcomes. TheICT Configuration Managerwill secure aninitial 12-month contractwith2 x 12-month extension options, based inCanberra, ACTwithhybrid working arrangements.

TheICT Configuration Managerwill be responsible for but not limited to:

n

n
- Leading the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the CMDB framework and governance processes
n
- Maintaining CMDB accuracy through data validation, reconciliation, reporting and quality assurance activities
n
- Supporting change, release and incident management through effective dependency mapping and configuration relationships
n




- Integrating cloud services, automation and emerging technologies into configuration management practices
n
- Supporting audit, security and compliance requirements through effective configuration and asset management controls
n

n

TheICT Configuration Managerwill have experience in the following:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience managing and improving CMDB and configuration management capabilities within complex ICT environments
n
- Robust knowledge of ITIL and ITSM practices across configuration, change, incident, problem and asset management processes
n
- Hands-on experience administering ServiceNow CMDB or a comparable ITSM platform, including reporting and governance functions
n
- Proven ability to maintain data integrity, lifecycle management, dependency mapping and continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience working across technical, security and business teams
n
