The Position

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to play a critical role in assessing property damage and delivering accurate, timely scopes of work.

- End-to-end estimating across insurance repair projects
n
- Focus on accuracy, compliance, and turnaround times
n
- High level of stakeholder interaction (customers, insurers, trades)
n
- Opportunity to work on both minor and major loss claims

- Flexibility required during surge events and major incidents

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the estimating process from initial assessment through to final report submission, ensuring all work meets industry standards and client expectations.

- Conduct onsite and remote damage assessments
n
- Prepare detailed Scope of Works and causation reports
n
- Coordinate trades for make-safe works and specialist input
n
- Ensure compliance with building codes, legislation, and HSEQ standards
n
- Deliver accurate, competitive cost estimates aligned with insurer requirements
n
- Maintain clear and skilled communication with all stakeholders
n

The Ideal Candidate
n
n
- 3 to 5+ years' experience in estimating, insurance assessments, or construction
n
- Trade or tertiary qualification in building/construction (preferred)
n
- Major Loss experience is highly beneficial but not essential
n
- Experience with insurance claims and reporting (highly regarded)
n
- Sound understanding of HSEQ requirements and legislation
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- Current driver's licence, White Card, and relevant licences
