Mechanical Fitter – $67/hr + Paid Travel

Alliance Group are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team for site-based work in the Hunter Valley, with the site located between Singleton and Muswellbrook.

n

This role offers a great roster for someone looking for a strong hourly rate, consistent hours and a four-day working week.

Responsibilities:

n

n
- Carry out mechanical fitting, maintenance and repair work on site
n
- Assist with breakdowns, servicing and preventative maintenance
n
- Work safely around mining and industrial equipment
n
- Use hand and power tools in accordance with site requirements
n
- Follow all site safety procedures and Alliance Group safety standards




n
- Work effectively as part of a site-based maintenance team
n
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
n
- Other duties as required
n

Requirements:

n

n
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
n
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
n
- Robust commitment to workplace health and safety
n
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
n
- Reliable, motivated and able to follow site procedures
n

n

Highly Desirable:

n

n
- 2+ years mining/heavy industry experience
n
- Working at Heights
n
- Confined Space
n
- Additional High Risk Work Licences will be highly regarded
n
