Based in Tullamarine, this small business employs approx. 18 staff business known for producing high-quality food products for export around Australia and overseas to 20+ countries.

Reporting to General Manager, you will be involved in the day-today supply chain for export in a hands-on role for end-to-end shipment coordination, export documentation, freight management, reporting and operational compliance. As the Logistics & Warehouse Manager you will lead a small team of 2 people - Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Assistant to ensure that all deadlines and warehouse expectations are met.

Tasks & Responsibilities

n

n
- Oversee the accurate and timely preparation and checking of export documentation, including EDN, invoices, COO, Health Certificates, SLI/VGM, BOL, Phyto, Meat RFP etc.
n
- Train, lead, and mentor a small team within a warehouse workplace
n
- Maintain appropriate stock and inventory levels of all production materials
n
- Understanding of Health & Safety,



Quality Assurance and Logistics requirements
n
- Coordinate and optimise shipments, ensuring timely delivery of FMCG products
n
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and authorities to streamline export processes
n
- Monitor and track shipments, providing real-time updates to stakeholders, including customs paperwork, shipping manifests, and compliance records
n
- Proactively identify logistics issues and implement solutions to enhance efficiency
n
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategies with overall business objectives
n

Experience & Qualifications

n

n
- Experience in logistics, international freight, export operations and warehouse management
n
- Proficient in using SAP & EdiSoft to manage shipments and track inventory
n
- The ability to provide leadership and guidance to the warehouse staff
n
- Enthusiastic leader who is self-motivated that has a passion for safety
n
- Attention to detail, strong process systems and focused on achieving outcomes
n
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
n
- Experience managing Food, Dairy or FMCG would be highly regarded
n
- Forklift licence and Drivers licence is essential
n
