Our Business Services team partners with emerging businesses, fast-growing corporate groups, and high net worth individuals across a range of industries. We provide a full suite of advisory and compliance services, including growth and strategic planning, financial modelling, business mentoring, tax advisory, due diligence, and accounting support.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing Business Services team in Melbourne. In this role, you will contribute to high-quality compliance and advisory work across a diverse portfolio of clients, including SMEs, small businesses, high net worth individuals, and investment companies and trusts. You will work closely with senior professionals, gaining exposure to complex matters and contributing to impactful client outcomes, while also managing your own portfolio of clients. You will be supported in developing your technical, business development, and people-management capabilities as you progress your career.

Key responsibilities

Prepare a range of financial statements in accordance with regulatory, accounting, and financial reporting standards across various industries.





Prepare income tax returns for a variety of entities, including companies, trusts, and high net worth individuals.

Support tax planning initiatives and assist with technical advice relating to business operations and regulatory matters.

Deliver business and tax advisory services, including business structuring, performance improvement, and growth advisory.

Build strong relationships across the wider Business Services team and maintain exceptional service standards for clients, including direct client contact.

Manage and develop your own portfolio of clients.

Mentor and support junior team members.

About you

Experience within a professional services or public practice setting.

Strong interest in taxation, advisory, and business services.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with strong attention to detail.

Previous experience managing your own client portfolio.

Experience supervising and mentoring junior staff.

Proactive, collaborative, and client-focused approach to work.

Completed CA or CPA qualification.
