About the Opportunity

n

A permanent full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Management Accountant to join BEC Feed Solutions' finance team.

n

This is a broad role providing exposure across financial reporting, cash flow, inventory, compliance, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering across multiple entities within the group.

n

Reporting to the Accounts, Finance & Administration Team Leader,



you will work closely with the Group Corporate Accountant and broader finance team to support accurate, timely and efficient financial operations across the organisation.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Financial Management & Reporting

n

n
- Prepare and maintain weekly cash flow forecasts, working capital funding and FX exposure reporting.
n
- Oversee daily MRP processes and monthly ERP inventory module close.
n
- Manage general ledger accounts, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
n
- Support monthly financial reporting and preparation of Board-level reports.
n
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and Capex system, including depreciation.
n
- Calculate intercompany loan interest across subsidiaries.
n

Compliance & Taxation

n

n
- Prepare BAS, FBT, ABS and other statutory returns for review.
n
- Assist with annual tax returns and liaise with external tax advisors.
n
- Support external audit processes and ensure compliance requirements are met.
n

n

Budgeting & Process Improvement

n

n
- Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
n
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
n
- Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
n

n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

n

n




- 3–5 years' experience in a Management Accountant or similar role, ideally within a manufacturing, distribution or inventory-focused environment.
n
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or an equivalent qualification.
n
- Experience working within a multi-entity environment, with exposure to foreign subsidiaries highly regarded.
n
- ERP system experience, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
n
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial analysis and modelling.
n
- Robust analytical skills with the ability to investigate variances and identify opportunities for improvement.
n
- Experience engaging with senior finance stakeholders and external auditors.
n
- High attention to detail and a strong understanding of financial performance and business drivers.
n
- A collaborative and proactive approach, supported by strong communication and problem-solving skills.
n
