Motiv8sports is Australia's largest provider of multi-sports school holiday camps, delivering high-energy, fun and inclusive events for primary school-aged children.

We are looking for a confident, organised and energetic Area Manager to oversee the delivery, quality and growth of Motiv8sports programs, camps and events across a designated region.

This role is suited to teachers, casual teachers, sports coaches, Event Directors, program coordinators or natural leaders who enjoy working with children, leading teams and managing fast-paced events.

About the Role

As a Motiv8sports Area Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring every camp, school program and event in your area is delivered safely, professionally and with the energy Motiv8sports is known for.

You will lead and support coaching teams, manage event operations, maintain strong relationships with schools, venues and families, and help grow the Motiv8sports brand in your region.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong communication, organisation, people management and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the delivery of Motiv8sports camps, school programs and events across your area

Lead, support, mentor and manage coaching staff

Ensure events run safely, smoothly, professionally and on schedule

Act as a key contact for staff, parents, schools, venues and partners

Support staff recruitment, training, onboarding and development

Monitor event quality, customer experience and staff performance

Assist with setup, pack-down, equipment management and operational planning

Manage incidents, parent communication, first aid escalation and reporting when required





Ensure child-safe standards, risk management procedures and Motiv8sports policies are followed

Help grow participation, strengthen relationships and build the Motiv8sports brand locally

Experienced working with children in sport, education, camps or recreation

Comfortable managing staff, parents, logistics and fast-moving events

Calm under pressure and able to make strong decisions

Energetic, enthusiastic and willing to lead from the front

A strong communicator with excellent people-management skills

Passionate about creating safe, fun and memorable experiences for children

Valid Working With Children Check

Current First Aid and CPR certification

Drivers Licence

Ability to travel across your allocated area

Experience working with children in education, sport, camps or recreation

Teaching, casual teaching, PE or sports coaching background

Event, camp or program leadership experience

Previous experience as an Event Director, Coordinator or Team Leader

Experience leading teams of staff

Understanding of child-safe standards, supervision and risk management

Experience working with schools, councils, venues or community partners
