Due to continued growth in our hospital partnerships, we are seeking an experienced Trainer & Assessor to deliver the Certificate III and IV in Sterilisation and Cert IV Operating Theatre Technical Support

About the Role
n
This role is responsible for delivering, assessing, and validating nationally recognised training for learners working within hospital and health service environments. Delivery may include a combination of workplace-based training, on-site delivery, and online learning support.
n
You will play a key role in ensuring learners develop the practical skills, compliance knowledge, and professional behaviours required in regulated health settings.
n
The role requires travel to regional hospitals throughout Victoria.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Deliver and assess the following qualifications in accordance with training package requirements:
n
n
HLT47515 Certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technical Support
n
n
- Facilitate engaging, industry-relevant training aligned to hospital pharmacy operations and workplace practices
n
- Conduct workplace assessments and gather valid, sufficient, and authentic evidence
n
- Support learners to complete training while meeting workplace and regulatory expectations successfully
n
- Maintain accurate training and assessment records in line with State Government funding requirements, the RTO Standards 2025 and other industry requirements
n
- Participate in validation, moderation, and continuous improvement activities
n
- Work collaboratively with SWC Training staff and industry partners to ensure high-quality outcomes
n

About You
n
You will have:
n
n
- At least five years of experience working in a role related to the qualifications listed above in a hospital
n
- Demonstrated experience as aTrainer and Assessor
n
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 (or equivalent)
n
- Strong facilitation, communication and assessment skills
n
- Knowledge ofVET compliance and RTO standards
n
- A commitment to high-quality training and learner outcomes
n
