The Role

We are looking for fantastic Baristas to work at the National Gallery of Australia in the new Oculus café, opening in September 2026. If you have experience working in a fine food and beverage establishment, delivering premium quality service and goods, we would love to hear from you.

You will have current and recent experience working as a barista, have a real passion for customer satisfaction and know how to provide efficient, professional service in a busy environment.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

- 2+ years’ customer interaction experience
- 2+ years’ barista experience, making all styles of coffee
- Experience with Cash Handling and POS Systems
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to work under pressure & within a quick-paced cafe
- Flexible availability – including weekday and weekend shifts
- Current RSA is essential
- Coffee art skills are advantageous though not-essential
