Blackbird is looking for an experienced VFX Coordinator to join our Sydney team on a 12-month contract.

We're a boutique Sydney studio creating high-end visual effects for feature films and episodic content, and we're looking for someone who'll bring great energy, initiative and a collaborative mindset to the team.

The Role

You'll work closely with our Production and Artist Leadership teams to help keep projects moving smoothly from start to finish. No two days are the same, you'll be coordinating artists, schedules and workflows, solving problems on the fly, and helping ensure our projects are delivered to the high standard Blackbird is known for.

We're looking for someone who's organised, calm under pressure, proactive, and enjoys being at the centre of the action.

You're Someone Who...





- Has previous experience working as a VFX Coordinator (this is not an entry-level role).
- Knows ShotGrid inside and out.
- Brings positive energy and enjoys being part of a close-knit, supportive team.
- Is a strong communicator who isn't afraid to jump in and solve problems.
- Loves keeping lots of moving pieces organised without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Can work on site in our Sydney studio.

- Previous experience as a VFX Coordinator.
- Fluency with ShotGrid.
- Ability to work on site at our Sydney studio.
- Australian working rights — visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
