We are looking for an experienced and passionate radio journalist to join our Nova Entertainment Network newsroom in a casual capacity, with opportunities to cover all networks.

We would prefer a local hire with strong knowledge of the Gosford and broader Central Coast community, who can identify and deliver stories that resonate with local audiences.

You will work independently but be fully supported by other newsreaders across the national team to ensure news content is current, accurate and consistent.

- Experience in a regional or metro radio newsroom (essential)

- Passion for news and current affairs with a news presenting voice to suit the Nova brand
n
- Strong understanding of local, national and international news affecting the community
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Accuracy and excellent attention to detail

- Competent in broadcast systems
n
- Effective time management and deadline management skills
n
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
