Job Description

Responsible for the service provision and monitoring of the network infrastructure telecommunications environment.

Responsibilities:

n

n
- Understanding the requirements of SOW, prepare Method of Procedures/Implementation Plan
n
- Competent and experienced in writing MOPs/SOPs, present in change review panel and get the approval
n
- Hands on experience in executing the MOPs during Change Window
n
- Implementing the MOP and ensure network/services stability
n
- Commissioning and Integration of new Cisco and Juniper routers/switches, New FW and SecGW
n
- Coordinating with planning and design team to understand the required Network changes
n
- Network Audit Planning and Design with providing network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.
n
- Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches with hands on experience on Cisco ASR9ks, Nexus switches, Juniper MX480, MX960
n
- Hands on experience of working on Cisco ACI platform, leaf growth and service migrations
n
- Configuring security policies/rules in SecGw and Firewall
n
- Firewall provisioning (Fortinet/Checkpoint/Palo Alto) and troubleshooting
n
- Configuration of Access policies and NAT rules in Firewalls/Proxies/DNS/Load Balancers with relevant parameters for desired packet flow
n
- Managing Checkpoint - Smart Dashboard, Smart View Tracker, Smart View Monitor, Multi Domain Manager
n
- Implement Changes on several Gateway Devices,



including firewall rules/Policies/Proxies/DNS/ Load Balancers, including F5/ Citrix Netscaler.
n
- Managing escalations within the team and communications to stakeholders
n
- Analysing, identifying, and fixing critical network issues during deployment, testing and integration
n
- Monitoring the network and reporting faults/degradation to key stakeholders
n
- Active participation in process improvement where required
n

Requirements and Skills:

n

n
- Mandatory skills:Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Cisco ACI
n
- CCNA, CCNP and JNCIA certifications
n
- Deep understanding and hands on experience on L2/L3 routing/Switching protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, VPN, VLAN, HSRP, VRRP, IPsec, OSPF, BGP, ISIS, RIP, EIGRP, 802.11, QoS, FTP, SFTP, TACACS, CGNAT, NAT)
n
- Excellent understanding and experience in IP core network
n
- Hands on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
n
- Proven ability to work and conduct variety of stakeholder engagements independently
n
