The Role:
n
We are seeking experienced Hydraulic / Fluid Power Service Technicians to join our Australian branches teams to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Duties
n
The key accountabilities include:
n
n
- Using testing equipment to diagnose, repair and maintain fluid power components and systems
n
- Overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment
n
- Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment
n
- Diagnosing and recommending solutions to fluid power problems
n
- Identify and repair fluid power components such as pumps, cylinders, valves reservoirs, motors, accumulators, hose fittings and filters
n
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics
n
- Installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines
n
- Ensure all work is completed to health, safety, setting and quality requirements
n
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including site owner representatives
n
n
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
n
To be successful the following knowledge and experience is required:
n
n
- A trade qualification as a fitter or equivalent with hydraulic experience
n
- Experience in hydraulic hose assemblies, tube manufacture and installation
n
- Formal fluid power post trade training or relevant industry experience would be highly regarded
n
- Have a high safety focus
n
- Be able to pass pre-employment medical
n
