What You'll Be Doing
n
As Workshop Controller, you'll be responsible for ensuring the workshop operates efficiently, safely and profitably. You'll coordinate technicians, maximise productivity and ensure every customer receives an exceptional level of service.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
n

- Planning and controlling the daily workshop schedule
n
- Allocating work effectively to maximise technician productivity and efficiency
n
- Monitoring work in progress to ensure deadlines are achieved
n
- Liaising with Service Advisors regarding repair progress and customer updates
n
- Ensuring high standards of workmanship and quality control
n
- Supporting technicians with technical queries where appropriate
n
- Monitoring workshop performance, efficiency and utilisation
n
- Helping to achieve departmental productivity and profitability targets
n
- Ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards and company processes
n
- Promoting a safe, organised and professional working environment
n
- Supporting, coaching and motivating the workshop team
n

What We're Looking For
n
We're looking for someone who can lead by example and remains calm under pressure.

Ideally You'll Have
n
n
- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Senior Technician or Workshop Supervisor within a franchised dealership
n
- Strong technical understanding of modern vehicle systems
n
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
n
- The ability to prioritise workload in a busy workplace
n
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills
n
- A proactive approach to problem solving
n
- A commitment to delivering excellent customer service
n
- A full UK driving licence is essential
n
