Walter Iezzi Property Group is seeking an experienced Site Manager / General Foreperson to lead the delivery of an 8-storey multi-residential development on the Fraser Coast.

This role is suited to an experienced commercial/high-rise Site Manager or General Foreperson who has successfully delivered comparable projects and can confidently lead day-to-day site operations.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
n
You will oversee subcontractors, coordinate construction activities, drive programme outcomes, maintain quality standards and provide robust site leadership throughout the construction of an 8-storey residential development.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Lead all day-to-day site operations.
n
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades and suppliers.
n
- Deliver the project in accordance with programme, budget and quality requirements.
n
- Maintain a safe, compliant and well-organised construction site.
n
- Coordinate site logistics, deliveries and material management.
n
- Monitor productivity and proactively resolve construction issues.
n
- Undertake quality inspections and defect management.
n
- Maintain accurate site records and reporting.
n
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and the Project Manager.
n
- Foster a positive culture focused on safety, quality and accountability.

Essential Skills & Experience
n
The successful applicant mustdemonstrate:
n
n
- Experience as a Site Manager or General Foreperson delivering commercial and high-rise (5+ storey) construction projects.
n
- Demonstrated experience successfully delivering mid to high-rise apartment developments from structure through to completion.
n
- Strong commercial construction background with experience managing projects valued between $15M and $30M+.
n
- Proven ability to independently manage an active construction site.
n
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple trades simultaneously.
n
- Excellent understanding of construction sequencing, programming and quality control.
n
- Thorough knowledge of Queensland WHS legislation and site safety requirements.
n
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
n
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
n

Essential Qualifications
n
n
- Current Queensland Site Supervisor Licence.
n
- Construction White Card.
n
- Current Driver's Licence.
n
- Full Australian working rights.
n
n
Trade qualifications in Carpentry or a related building trade will be highly regarded.
