Electrician / Data Technician – GAP Asset Services

GAP Asset Services is looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician with data and communications experience to join our growing team.

n

This is a hands‐on role suited to a reliable tradesperson who takes pride in their workmanship, works well independently and is confident completing electrical, data, maintenance and service works across a range of client sites.

About the Role

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Electrical installations, maintenance and repairs
n
- Fault-finding and testing
n
- Data and communications cabling
n
- Fibre Installation, Splicing and Commissioning Experience
n
- Installation and termination of data outlets and equipment
n
- Preventative and reactive maintenance
n
- Completing service and minor project works
n
- Accurately completing job documentation and service reports
n
- Communicating professionally with clients, supervisors and other trades
n
- Maintaining GAP's safety, quality and presentation standards
n

What We're Looking For

n

- Qualified Electrician with a current Queensland Electrical Licence
n
- Data and communications experience
n
- Current cabling registration
n
- Construction White Card
n
- Current Australian driver's licence
n
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
n
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Good communication and customer-service skills
n
- Reliable, organised and professional
n

n

Experience in commercial maintenance, service work, communications, testing or asset maintenance will be highly regarded.

n

Desirable Qualifications

n

- Working at Heights
n
- EWP licence
n
- CPR and Low Voltage Rescue
n
- Test and Tag qualification
n
- First Aid
n
- Defence, healthcare or government project experience
n
