Site Coodinator - Glass and Aluminium (Melbourne-based)

We are seeking an experienced Site Coordinator - Glass and Aluminium to join our team at Mercury Industry Pty. Ltd. in Melbourne. This is a full-time position that will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day coordination and supervision of our glass and aluminium installation projects.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Liaising with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery
n
- Scheduling and coordinating the work of glass and aluminium installation teams
n
- Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise
n
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
n
- White Card and Working at Heights certifications are required
n
- Providing on-site leadership and mentorship to installation crews
n
- Preparing detailed reports and documentation related to project activities
n
- Collaborating with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Coordinator or Supervisor in the construction industry, with a focus on glass and aluminium installations
n




- Experience with curtain wall systems is preferred but not essential
n
- Thorough understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations
n
- Strong project management and problem‐solving skills
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
n
- Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools
n
- Proficiency in Aconex/Oracle construction management software is required
n
- Ability to work in a fast‐paced, deadline‐driven workplace
n
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field would be highly regarded
