DIDO / Relocation Options

n

This role is offered on a DIDO basis, making it ideal for candidates based in regional Victoria or the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

- DIDO each swing (no FIFO required)
n
- Temporary accommodation provided (up to 12 weeks) for relocation
n
- Support to transition into the Bendigo region long-term
n
- Residential / DIDO candidates must live within 50 minutes of site

The Role

n

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll join a tight-knit team of mobile plant tradespeople working across both workshop and (once trained) field environments.

n





Duties will include:

n

n
- Workshop maintenance - servicing, repairs, component change-outs
n
- Preventative and scheduled maintenance
n
- Fault finding and diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic & electrical systems
n
- Field service work (once competent) - breakdowns and on-site support
n

n

Equipment:
n UG mining trucks, loaders (boggers), drills, ITs, charge-up equipment, spray rigs

n

The Roster

n

n
- 7 days on / 7 days off / 7 nights on / 7 days off
n
- Wednesday to Tuesday rotation
n
- 12-hour shifts
n

n

Your Value

This role is ideal for someone looking to step into mining from a background in mobile plant.

You'll bring:

n

- Trade qualification (Diesel Mechanic or Light Vehicle Mechanic)
n
- Experience working on mobile plant equipment (essential)
n
- Strong understanding of hydraulics, electrics and mechanical systems
n
- Background in heavy vehicles, earthmoving, agriculture or similar
n
- A genuine interest in moving into the mining industry
n
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team
n
