Responsibilities:
The role is responsible for assessing new concepts against current systems and procedures, analysing stakeholder needs from an end-to-end perspective, engaging internal and external clients through various facilitation techniques and mediums, and providing high quality, fit for purpose business analysis artefacts
- Be an active and vocal member of the Markets transformation team, bringing your past experience in transformation programs and adapting it to a strong client culture.
- Work with impacted stakeholders to perform deep dives and discovery on the As-Is state of clearing risk management systems for derivatives products, allowing for effective review by project team members and impacted stakeholders.
- Liaise with assigned Product Owners and Development teams for prioritisation, elicitation and analysis of recent business requests within the program.
- Run workshops to identify requirements and evaluate solutions.
- Perform gap analysis between the As-Is state and the To-Be state.
- Write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria for functional and non-functional requirements.
- Present and clearly articulate user stories and other business requirements to a wide audience including developers, testers, vendors and project stakeholders
- Support QA teams on integration testing, plan and participate in UAT, provide hyper care support post implementation.

Mandatory Skills Description:
The role demands over five years of expertise in capital markets, with a focus on derivatives products and back-office processes. Candidates are expected to apply this knowledge to effectively manage and improve related workflows.
Additionally, a thorough understanding of agile methodologies is essential to contribute successfully within project environments.
Hard skills include:
- - In-depth knowledge of capital markets products, specifically interest rate derivatives and fixed income instruments.
- - Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder management, and comprehensive documentation.
- - Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and delivery artifacts.
- - Extensive experience in agile delivery practices such as user story creation, backlog refinement, and supporting user acceptance testing.
- - Familiarity with digital banking, financial services, or enterprise platforms is beneficial.
Soft skills required encompass:
- - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across various organizational levels, emphasizing stakeholder engagement, effective communication, and adaptability.
- - Analytical thinking paired with meticulous problem-solving capabilities.
- - Capacity to prioritize tasks and perform efficiently in fast-paced environments.
While techno-functional expertise is advantageous, it is not a requirement for this role.
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
- - Basic technical knowledge in Database, Java, XML and issue analysis using application server logs.
- - Working experience with Central banks, Central Clearing House
- - CFA / FRM or other BA certifications are desirable
- - Customer Centric - understanding the needs of our internal and external customers and ensuring that solutions developed meet / exceed these needs.
